Osmosis remediation
From diagnosis to repair
Osmosis damage is visible by the fact that the gel coating becomes detached from the laminate in the form of bubbles – it is pushed away and rises up. This is an important characteristic of osmosis and, in an advanced state, it can easily be recognised by laymen. Many sailors have seen or smelled osmosis bubbles before, because a liquid that smells like vinegar usually escapes from an open osmosis bubble – the osmosis fluid.
MFH carries out diagnostics (wet bulb tests, grinding tests etc.) and then, if required, also the necessary repairs.
